Daniel has been actively involved in film-making, photography, theatre, and the arts for nearly as long as he can remember. He has taught people the finer details of film-making and post-production for nearly 20 years and has been producing his own content the last 10.

Recent endeavours include a series of documentaries with Highland Village Films where he was responsible for all aspects of post-production, as well as project management for the production side of things. He worked alongside Verite films as an assistant editor on the 2021 Governor General Performing Arts Award show on CBC where, among other things, he played a big role in finding effective post-production workflows for the project.

As senior assistant editor for Salvage Kings Season 3 he was responsible for working with up to 8 editors and 4 story editors to ensure smooth final delivery of the final product.

Extremely passionate about both the craft and technology of video and film production, he takes a lot of pride in ensuring he is up to date on the latest workflows and techniques. 

​

Depending on the scope of your project he can act as a one person production team (not always one person) or slip into various roles across production and post-production as needed. 

​

He also has a strong interest in audio and music production, creative writing and content development. 

​

​His educational background includes Drama Studies, Film Studies, Video Editing, Classics, and English. He has studied at University of Toronto, Sheridan College and Centennial College.
